Terms & Conditions

The Service is provided to classical and hybrid schools, their administrators, teachers, parents, and students. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are using it under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or school authorized to act on a minor’s behalf. School administrators are responsible for ensuring they have the authority and any necessary consents to add other members of their community to the Service.

New schools are onboarded by invitation. When you register a school or create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at lchen@sursumcordaclassical.com if you suspect any unauthorized use.

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: (a) upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, school, or system; (c) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; (d) use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person; or (e) use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.

The Service allows schools and their members to submit content such as lesson plans, quizzes, scholar reports, calendar entries, and messages (“Content”). You retain ownership of your Content. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display that Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and your school. You are responsible for the Content you submit and for having the rights and consents needed to submit it.

Some plans are free and others are paid on a per-school basis. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on the interval you select and, unless cancelled, renew automatically. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on a going-forward basis with reasonable notice. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your use of the Service.

Our handling of personal information, including information about students, is described in our Privacy Notice, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Schools act as the controllers of the student information they place in the Service, and we process that information on their behalf to provide the Service.

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. School administrators may request deletion of their school’s account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. On termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will end, subject to provisions that by their nature should survive.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
